It's official! Spring has arrived--according to our calendars--and now we wait patiently until the weather starts to catch on to the idea, too! We have sold all of our allotted shares for the 2013 season, and can now focus on the preparations for a successful summer. Thanks to all of our members, new and old for entering into this partnership with us. We are very excited to be your farmers, and to get to know each and every one of you.
We hope that this blog will be a tool you can use throughout the season to keep up with all that is happening on the farm you are helping to support! We will be posting as many pictures as we can find the time to take, to give you a sense of the wonderful changes taking place in the fields.
As for now, some of our crops have been seeded, and are enjoying a little warmth under their grow lights, attended by our great friend Ellen VandeVisse. Check out her Good Earth Garden School, a wonderful resource for farming and gardening using organic growing methods. Keep checking back to see the latest happenings!
